  1. I disagree regarding your views on how to get to heaven. It seems you believe that works can get you to heaven. Is that true?

Ephesians 2:8-10: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    1. No, I believe that you also have to be free of mortal sin and you have to actually believe in God and truly love and serve him as best as you can.

To share internal life with God, you must Know Him, Love Him, and Serve Him.

        1. Well you should try and help people out and be a good guy, I mean you shouldn’t go around and never help anyone out.

Yeah, I don’t know how you would get to heaven if you never helped people and be nice to people.

          1. Of course the Bible tells us to do all of that, but we do not need to do works just to go to heaven. What if a person was saved and then immediately was killed in an unexpected accident? Prior to this they had only done bad things. But they became a Christian before it was too late. Do you think he’d be in heaven?

            1. Yes I someone is baptized (as we call it. We get saved at the same time) and some dies right away or soon after then they will go straight to heaven.

But I that doesn’t happen then by doing good deeds you will probably have a better chance of getting to heaven.

    1. Indeed. The original sin of Adam needs to be washed away before you can enter heaven.

For babies who die and aren’t baptized we believe they go to limbo until the end of the world. At which point god will give them a choice like he did the angels.

That’s what most Catholics agree on though we’re not 100% sure and we probably won’t be until we die.
